The Kindle Paperwhite is one of their best e-readers yet. In the short time I’ve been using it, I’m already realizing how much I love reading (and how much I missed it.) I’ll be honest in saying that I don’t read enough. I read online, but that’s not quite the same as picking up a great novel and reading through a full story. The Paperwhite is a nice crossover between physical books and the digital world we live in. This one in particular, is a mix of affordability, and features that make it ideal for someone who hasn’t made the jump yet.
The Kindle Paperwhite comes in two builds – one with WiFi, and one with both WiFi and 3G. In this case, I’ve unboxed the 3G model (which provides limited 3G coverage for free in over 100 countries). The added 3G adds on about $60 to the total cost – so it is ideal for those who travel a LOT. The WiFi model is perfect for everyone else.
Kindle Paperwhite Makes Reading More Easy
The screen is a backlit 6″, 300ppi monochromatic display – it won’t strain your eyes in the sun or at night like a tablet will. The battery life lasts for weeks of usage and with 4GB of memory, you’ll be able to take thousands of books with you. The controls are simple to swipe through pages, select books and download new ones. There’s also the added feature of a built-in dictionary. If you don’t know what a word means, press + hold, and a dictionary explanation will come up!
Ideal for people who love to read (and even people who don’t), the Kindle Paperwhite is a great way to get into some of the latest and greatest books. Plus, if you’re bored by the book you’re reading – you can just swap to another one! Or another one.. or another one!

Disclosure: Techmas is something that I personally put together. As early as September I start making contact with brands to see if they are interested. They don’t pay me. What they do provide me with is a unit to unbox, and one to giveaway.
