Blinds are no simple task to install, and often times you’re going to find that landlords don’t really want you drilling into the walls to put up blinds. But try sleeping in on a weekend in a room with an east facing window – forget it! Axis Blinds has spent years developing what they call a truly portable blind system with no screws, nails or drills. It works pretty simply (in theory) with tension being placed on both sides of the window but the actual design is pretty elaborate considering you have an actual blind built into it. We would love to see these in action, and if you would too, head over to their Kickstarter page and lend them a hand. Plus they are Canadian!

For $69 you can get your own small blind when they launch.
