The cuckoo clock has certainly been on the decline, but not all has been forgotten. There’s something humbling about the simple cuckoo clock that reminds you of who you are and that at the end of the day, we’re all just people. The Quercus is a handmade modernized version of the cuckoo clock that’s battery powered with a moving pendulum, constructed of plywood, oak stain, shellac and beeswax and has a clean modern design. The birds wings and beak move along with the cuckooing (who’s volume is also controllable) which is slated for every hour between 6AM and 10PM. It may not be your thing, but we think it certainly has some real value.
