Toronto’s Oyster Fest 2014 is back again for the 26th year! This time the event is taking place at Rodney’s Oyster House at 469 King Street West on Sunday July 20th, from 2PM until 10PM. The event will feature all that you could ever expect from an Oyster Fest including great beers and wines, naturally the freshest oysters and other seafood players including lobster and mussels. There will also be live music and an oyster shucking contest! The entire event is in support of Environmental Defence! A ticket purchased in advance (or at the door) will get your two drink tickets and a plate of oysters, plus for just $5 more you can get additional food or drink.

Tickets sell for $32 in advance and will be available for $40 at the door.

We were invited to check out their Oyster Brew event last week where they assisted Amsterdam Brewery in creating an Oyster Stout Beer. At the event, we also sampled several kinds of oysters and beer pairings, plus we tried some of the mussels and sliders that would be available at the Oyster Fest. Needless to say, everything was delicious! If you love oysters, seafood and alcoholic beverages, this is definitely an event to attend! Check a couple pictures of the food below.
