Many of you are very familiar with Techmas – our annual tech unboxing/gift guide series! Well, if you want to get some insight into the latest tech AND get your hands on it, check out the #LifeAndTech show at Dundas Square. For three days, September 12-14, 2017, Best Buy, and their vendor partners take over the entire square to demo and display everything up for sale. This is the third year for the event, and by FAR their best year yet!

Weather is Playing Fair this Year

Last year was somewhat hampered by rain, so it’s only fitting that this year the weather is slated to be beautiful. I went early yesterday to get an advanced sneak peek at the event and was not disappointed. It’s organized into several different areas. There’s a wearables section that features smartwatches up on an elevated stage. A smart home with everything from cameras to digital art screens, smart home speakers, and doorbells. There’s an entire drone area including some small confined cages to test them out in. You’ll also be able to check out some of the latest health technology to help you lead a healthier life!

Did I mention there’s a Lambo you can check out?

The event really is one of the best showroom style events in Toronto and there’s plenty to do and see. There’s also swag! While as media I was privy to some additional items, for attendees there was everything from sunglasses to bags, stickers and exclusive discounts.

Definitely go check it out, whether you love tech or know nothing about it! You’ll genuinely enjoy yourself, learn something and walk away with some kind of souvenir from one of the vendors!
