Drone’s are one of the hottest tech items on the market right now. Whether it’s introductory toy drones or high-end photography drones, the world is going drone crazy. The Yuneec Breeze 4K drone is one that sits in the middle of a bunch of different markets. As such, it actually serves a group that hasn’t really had a drone designed for them yet. This is a Selfie Drone with a particular emphasis on travelers and family. That’s proven by the fact that on the front of the box it says #MyFlyingCamera. But it’s also because of some of the features of this device.
The Yuneec Breeze is compact and lightweight. It weighs slightly more than most smartphones and is small enough to fit into any bag. It has folding landing gear and folding blades that further help with its space saving design. Controlled via your smartphone, it currently doesn’t have its own controller – nor should it. You see, this drone is all about automated flight.
The Yuneec Breeze is a Unique Selfie Drone
It has five flight modes: Pilot, Selfie, Journey, Orbit and Follow Me. Pilot involves direct control, enabling you to fly it in any way you could want. Selfie is all about framing the drone to capture the perfect 13MP photo or video. Journey enables an automated flight pattern that flies away from you (up into the sky) and then comes back on the same axis. Orbit, as it sounds, does circles around you while keeping the camera focused on you. And the Follow Me keeps an eye on you, no matter where you move (within range).
As for the camera itself, it IS a 4K camera, but that footage is not stabilized. Instead, most will use the 1080p stabilized footage as the main capture mode. Its carrying case includes an extra battery, an extra set of props, cables and safety bumpers. This drone is able to be flown by anyone with no experience and sets up in a matter of minutes. At about half the price of the closest portable drone competitor, the Yuneec Breeze will certainly become a staple among travelers, adventurers and everyday people wanting a unique selfie.

Disclosure: Techmas is something that I personally put together. As early as September I start making contact with brands to see if they want to partake. They don’t pay me. What they do provide me with is a unit to unbox, and one to giveaway.
