Ever since playing the first Warcraft, there has been a lot of times we thought about the real potential for a movie. Naturally, the market for such a movie was probably small and limited to a gaming crowd. Then in 2006, Blizzard and Legendary announced that they were working on a live action movie. Now it’s 2015, a whole 9 years later, World of Warcraft remains┬ápopular well after a decade, and Blizzard continuing to build out that universe in games like Hearthstone and Heroes of the Storm, it’s time. Today, finally, the first trailer for the Warcraft movie dropped and it is looking to be the most badass fantasy action movie ever.

The Warcraft trailer starts with beautiful sweeping shots, talk of war and some introductory battle scenes. It’s all about the first interaction between Humans and Orcs, told from both perspectives. The music is epic, the visuals are stunning, and the story looks truly epic. There’s a massive battle scene right near the end of the trailer that just looks incredible – like watching a game of Warcraft in real life. This movie is looking to be great – but don’t take my word for it, watch the Warcraft trailer above!

Warcraft is being directed by Duncan Jones (Moon and Source Code), and stars Ben Foster as Medivh, Clancy Brown as Blackhand, Daniel Wu as Gul’dan, Travis Fimmel as Anduin Lothar, Paula Patton as Garona, TOby Kebbell as Durotan, Dominic Cooper as King Llane Wrynn and Robert Kazinsky as Orgrim.

Warcraft hits theaters on June 10th, 2016.
